David Einhorn has 25% average return at Greenglight Capital

    By Rob | June 18, 2008

”All SWF together manage up to between $2T and -$3T. With only one third of that money they can buy every company listed on the Germany’s stocks exchange. We also believe China and India will continue to lead global growth. Europe due to an aging population will lose its global weighting over the long term, while US will remain stable. The Americans are more dynamic and flexible than Europe and the US has much better demographic profile, which can refuel growth”  Sheikh Bader al-Saad, head of Kuwait Investment Authority

First off, I am highly skeptical of Bader’s outlook for Europe considering Eastern Europe’s contribution to the continent’s growth. Second,  I want to tell you that our Krispy Kreme  stock idea is still rocking the market. You just have to love it was an exemplary study of how a stock breaks out and goes higher. Study that!  Thinking about it, I should have jumped with both feet. O, well. Nice volume though.

Next. Just reading the article on David Einhorn, hedge fund manager that shorted Lehman. Analysing his behaviour, i noticed three things that make sense: he takes regular afternoon naps. I am a big fan of naps and think they should be mandatory in every company. :) Second, he has 25% average return for his 12 years at Greenlight Capital, and the guy is only 39 years old. Last, his firm supposively does not use leverage. Enough said, now before you start running to place orders with his fund check these two new product updates:

Firefox 3.0 is released. It’s faster. It’s more stable.(My favorite add-on is Showcase.) Get yourself a free copy of Firefox 3.0  Use it instead of Internet Explorer.

Has anyone tried IcyHot? If you cracked your back (God forbid) or have sundry back aches and pains, my friend Harry recommends these patches. The patches stay on and work awesome for up to eight hours. They start from about 8 to 19 a box!!

I too find the Sheik’s view of America touching. The last decade sees America flexing ,dynamicing and demographying itself into
a deep hole . Irresponsibility, recklessness , hypocrisy, deception, levity , greed , corruption and cynicism are good , as affirmed by Gecko, but were taken to excess, and prevailed at the highest levels.
I like to think wiser councils prevailed in Europe
