    By Rob | June 2, 2008

“Several times I have had 75% of my non-Berkshire net worth in a situation. You will see things where it would be a mistake not to act. You won’t see them often, and the press and your friends won’t be talking about them.Sometimes I have had more than 100% in individual investments.”

Quick highlights for the month of June:

    1. Recommended US allocation: 40% stocks, 45% bonds, cash 15%
    2. The Fed will remind on hold for the rest of the year
    3. Skyrocketing commodity prices will be hard for Fed to ignore once the economy turns the corner
    4. Treasuries remain overvalued relative to inflation and foreign bonds
    5. We are in a secular bear market for stocks
    6. Bottom watching indicators have not moved to buy signals.
    7. The easing cycle maybe over, in the past 4 cycles T prices have been lower 2 to 3 months after the last rate cut of an easing cycle.
    8. Since 1979 Health Care has one of the strongest positive seasonal patterns relative to the S&P 500 from May through the end of the year. However, that was not the case during Election years.
    9. Still Health Care is upgraded to Marketweight from Underweight.
    10. The 4 overweight sectors: Energy, Basic materials, Consumer Staples, Information Technology

If you are in the market for new cell phones, I advise you to wait for the new I-phone coming on June 9th or RIMM’s Bold, which will be a better version then the Blackberry and last, Google is realeasing Android, which would be the coolest gadget to have. ( considering everyone will have Apple and RIMM)
